“I Took Care of Myself” is about standing up for yourself and leaving a situation – a relationship – a place that doesn’t do you any good. With driving Hammond organ, rolling drums and outbursts of percussion and woodwind, this track is high in intensity.

The album is produced by Juhani Silvola and me, much of it is recorded at Studio Paradiso in Oslo with a bunch of wonderful musicians. I hope the music will bring you some kind of comfort and sanctuary. – Susanna
